hmm...the 'app' will have some kind of security passwords and some 'file checking' (checksum +) so the code isn't corrupted ?
Maybe have a serial number, # of downloads, ??
It'd be a nightmare to find out 1,234 units didn't run as they should.

I can see this getting very complicated ,fast and a LOT of true 'real world' testing needed ( power fails + toaster oven tests )
