Problems programming pic16F876A |

Hi all!
I´m using MPLAB v6.13 with the ICD 2 module and the PICDEM 2 plus Demo board with the CCS PCM-Compiler. My Code is compiling normally, but when I´m trying to program, (Debugger - Programm) it programs but then there always comes the error message(Target not in debug mode ....). I tried all the 3 possible Failures (in the MPLAB Help e.g. enable background debug...)but none of these seems to be the reason. Must I change something in my programm code or is there another reason, maybe CCS PCM isn`t working with one of my components?
Thanks for your help
Dietze

Heard there is probably a ground loop in the ICD2 module and this is the reason why it doesn`t work. Can somebody tell me how to fix it?

In version 5.X you need to make sure that the "Enable Debug Mode" box is NOT ticked as this I was told creates a similar problem.

Thank you but this isn´t realy the problem! Because you can only use the ICD2 with the v6.xx and I think it´s obvious that you enable debug mode when you want to debug!
